SEAN RICHARDSON

In addition to designing award-winning architecture, Sean is a skilled land planner. One of his innate talents is his unique ability to visualize topography and its integration with the built environment, which enables him to craft elegant solutions that blend seamlessly with their surroundings such that the results seem effortless.

Sean started his career in architecture as a 16-year-old ROP student working in an architect’s office and in the summers, he swung hammers on jobsites. Every day created so many unique opportunities to learn and grow, he gained his education in an old-school apprenticeship approach - fitting for his pragmatic nature.

In his off time, you can find him rebuilding his 1970 Jaguar E-Type by hand with the help of Professor YouTube and his Wingman Google (because why would a designer start with anything less than a handmade work of art for his first complete restoration?), riffing on one of his many guitars (many also hand built - are you seeing a theme?), building a new raised garden bed for the backyard, or plating a gourmet meal he’s just whipped up for friends and family.
